Using FamilySearch.org
FamilySearch.org is an online genealogy database that is available for free. The site provides a lot of the same information as Ancestry, without the cost. Free 24/7 phone support is available.

4. Select the country and state from the dropdown menus. 5. Click Search. The first three results are all for a Maymie Davis, but the first result is the only one that lists Niles, Ohio as a location.

We can tell by the spouse and child listed on records #2 and #3 that those records are for the wrong Maymie Davis. Record #1 is for the right person.
6. Click on the first record.
This record gives us the same information that we got from Ancestry. We have her name, the event type and date, place, age, birth year, parents' birthplaces, and household members' names and ages.
